Missing Loehmann's Yet? Let Stein Mart fill the Void.

Aventura was starting to feel a bit desolate for discount shoppers once Loehmann's went into oblivion, but fret no more, savvy savers- Stein Mart is filling the void!

Opening at the former Loehmann's location on May 15, the Jacksonville-based retailer pounced on the opportunity to expand its discount empire into Miami. "When this location became available, our management team was prepared and acted quickly to get it," said Jay Stein, CEO of Stein Mart.

This will be Miami's first Stein Mart and is one of ten new stores opening up around the country, another which will also be taking over another Loehmann's space. While it isn't as luxe as the aforementioned store, Stein Mart also offers brand name clothing, accessories and home décor. The final good-bye days were sad ones for Loehmann's, but as the saying goes, when one door closes, the same one opens only with a different owner.
