Ladies, looks like you're going to have to buy your sneakers elsewhere at Aventura Mall- for now. Come March, Lady Foot Locker will be temporarily closing down and reopening in May as SIX:02.

Introduced in 2012, this new Foot Locker concept feels less like a sneaker store and more like an upscale fitness boutique. It carries premium, lesser known fitness brands like Pink Lotus, Colosseum, and Spanx, in addition to classics like Nike, Adidas and Asics. Unlike the current Lady Footlocker locations, with practically nowhere to try on a sports bra, this SIX:02 should have featured dedicated fit zones and fitting lounge areas for a more comfortable shopping experience. You know, so you can actually see how tight your butt looks in those Dri-Fit capris. Or not.

Also in Aventura Mall news, Brooks Brothers has moved to a temporary location at the mall, as they wait for their permanent space to be built out.
