It feels like a new store pops up every week in Miami, now that the world has remembered how awesome we are. But even so, our minds keep racing towards the same usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Marcella Novela is no stranger to artistic expression, especially when we're talking personal style. As founder of Art Conductor, an initiative that brings together the curators, creatives and collectors of Miami through its Art Conductor Dinner Club series (ACDC, for short), she's often spotted around town decked out in the kind of garments you have to ask, "where'd you get that?!" but only after you've let out an exhilarating gasp of admiration. We asked the stylish entrepreneur what her go-to shop is, and you'll be pleased to know this worldly socialite chose Alessandra Gold Concept Store, as she's all about supporting the locals.
Go-to shop? Alessandra Gold Concept Store. I go there for unique statement pieces and cool sneakers. I recently purchased an awesome "varsity jacket" vest that I've already worn a few different ways; as a dress, a vest and as a cape. The shape and the length of this reinterpreted version of a classic style from decades ago is my perfect solution to one of the season's hottest trends. AGCS isn't just a store; it's an all encompassing brand. The Midtown Miami location also provides celebrity styling, high fashion photography and an outlet for young, up and coming local designers to sell their wares.
