Burberry in the Design District finally has an opening date! The two-story shop on 39th street is slated to open on January 9 and will feature womenswear an menswear from all their lines- Brit, Prorsum, London- not to mention fragrance, make-up and accessories.
We're told CEO Christopher Bailey took a lot of inspiration from Burberry's global flagship store on 121 Regent Street in London when designing this Miami shop. It's going to go in line with the "Burberry Retail Theatre" concept and contain a video wall that will stream live Burberry events and brand content during opening hours. This is perfect for London Fashion Week watch parties (Hint, hint)!
In addition, customers will have access to an iPad app that provides purchase history (because sometimes you can't remember if you already bought that multicolored trench) and brings up your preference history so that you can really hone in on that super personalized shopping experience.
