Lululemon on Lincoln Road opens in two days! The interior of the store is really starting to come together. The major columns inside are teal while the walls have wooden elements. As for the artwork, there are some sea-weathered bottles suspended from the ceiling over the register, and a brand rep confirmed with us that two 25 foot high murals by Miami-based artist David Lebo will be going up tonight in time for opening day on Friday.
The store will officially open at 10am, and there are some CRAZY handouts and workout sessions to be had. For starters, the first 100 guests in line on Friday will receive a Lululemon yoga mat, custom designed by Lebo himself. On these mats will be Lululemon's manifesto (a.k.a. the swarm of uplifting phrases on their shopping bags). We'll be there with our zoom lens on Friday, so expect a bright, spandex heavy gallery that day.
On Saturday, they're christening the space with an in-store Flybarre class led by Lululemon ambassador Ashli Katz at 8:30am, and there will be live jazz music! (See guys, not all is lost). The party continues on Sunday with a yoga flow class by another Lululemon Ambassador, Jodi Carey, at 8:30am, and is topped off with local craft brews and sliders, because what's more celebratory than that on a Sunday?
