The boutique fitness trend is blowing up in Miami. At the center of this trend are barre studios, which is why the winner of our Racked Award for Best Boutique Gym in Miami goes to local favorite Barre Motion.

In just four months since its opening, Barre Motion has gained a cult following of fans residing both in and outside of Miami Beach eager to snag a spot in one of the studio's Signature or Advanced Motion classes. Why? It's more of a mind-to-body movement, less of a one-hour, thrice a week workout. With the right diet, you'll start seeing results in less than one month, so consider that super toned, super hot dancer bod a done deal. The Miami Herald, Miami New Times and Well + Good have all taken note, so take a cue and perk your ears.

What's interesting about this studio is that it doesn't use free-weights to sculpt your upper half like other barre studios do, and the price of unlimited monthly classes is one of the least inexpensive in Miami. They're putting their own spin on a certain type of workout, which is always something to be celebrated.

The studio is all about fostering the community, hosting several workout mixers to benefit local organizations and charities. The studio's wellness workshops are of note as well, integrating Barre Motion with nutrition, hypnosis, meditation and even fashion. As for the interior, natural lighting is a huge mood booster and the glossy white, art deco-esque studio is completely open, containing even a small courtyard to zone out in, not to mention a small boutique for some much needed retail therapy. Plus, the floors are made of marble. Yes, real marble.

While Barre Motion's South Beach location is the workout's flagship studio, expect the movement to flood other cities and states soon, but hopefully not before expanding in Miami first!
