Welcome to the Racked Awards, our annual celebration of the best in local shopping and stye.

Over 46,000 Instagram followers and 6,000 Facebook likes are just two large reasons why Electric Boutique wins a Racked Award for Best Usage of Social Media. The store's online presence is nothing new. Since its account was created on Facebook back in 2006, the brand has really taken advantage of what the platform can do.

Whereas many brands have forgotten that Facebook exists, they've been consistent in creating weekly albums to highlight new arrivals, making sure to use studio photography when capturing their creatively paired, head-to-toe looks. But it doesn't stop there. The brand has a cult following on Instagram, posting not only merchandise but inspiring quotes, funny memes, pictures of customers and more. It's their consistency and longtime use of social media that drives women to head far out west on 8th street to shop Electric, so we're plastering a large "LIKE" symbol onto Electric Boutique for 2014.
