Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

1) South Beach: Strapping lads in subversive Alice-In-Wonderland-esque masks show off a little raw manliness in new preview photography of Miami Beach's latest gay-oriented but "straight friendly" hotel, the Hotel Gaythering.

2) Edgewater: The incredibly dilapidated old houses of Edgewater, near Downtown Miami, covered under layers of bad renovations and additions, were once quite lovely. They could be again, if saved before they are totally wiped out by condo towers that are quickly proliferating on the extremely valuable land.

3) Downtown: Do explore Miami's brand new Architecture Center, the Miami Center for Architecture And Design, a pristine white box with vaulted ceilings behind a grand old beaux arts edifice.
