No matter where you are in the world, the Ritz-Carlton is always the epitome of luxury, and the franchise's Key Biscayne location is no different, especially with the $2 million restoration it just completed for its spa. Led by Coral Gables design firm, Gettys, the revamping includes a new mosaic waterfall front, contemporary art displays throughout their 20,000 foot space, a new look to their sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, and treatment rooms revamped with new hues and furnishings.

To go along with the new look, spa director David Bremer has updated the spa menu, adding treatments like the Piña Colada Body Polisher and products like, wait for it, vegan nail polish. The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne will be the first spa in South Florida to carry wHet, which offers colorful nail polishes that it claims are free of harmful chemicals and not tested on animals. We're not jumping to conclusions, but has the Ritz gone a bit, dare we say, hipster on us? Doubtful.
