Miami may have a rep for being superficial, but the city is a sucker for a good cause especially if that cause involves a smidgen of glamour. It was announced that Italian haute couture designer Renato Balestra will be hosting the Glamour is Back fundraiser to benefit the Global Fund for the Forgotten People, which gives direct aid to those suffering from the issues that normally fall under the radar like care for the elderly, children born with disabilities and the homeless and displaced.

The designer, who has created dresses for empresses, queens and princesses of far off lands, will be displaying over 150 of his couture designs during the exclusive VIP dinner and charity benefit. Best of all, tickets are available for the event, which will be held on February 22, so if you want to see the gowns that have adorned oh, let's say, the Queen of Thailand, then buy a ticket once it becomes available.
