Vintage shopping is the modern day treasure hunt, only compasses have been swapped for Google Maps, and doubloons have been replaced with Chanel. Not to be confused with consignment shops, where people trade in clothes for cash, or thrift stores, where people donate clothes for nothing in return, vintage stores contain highly curated racks and shelves of goods, designer or not, hand-selected by owners and buyers who have a flare for fashion of the antiquated sort.
We've done some curating ourselves, and after the jump you'll discover eight of Miami's best vintage shops, arranged from north to south. Consignment shops aren't part of the roundup, although we do have a handy guide for you here.
Have any vintage tips or know of a store we might have missed? Give us a heads up in the comments section. Now click through to start your old-timey treasure hunt.
