We're not gonna lie– Dadeland has the best food options out of all the malls in this cityand it's about to get better, at least aesthetically. The mall's food court is undergoing an extensive renovation, and it should wrap up in November right in time for the holidays.
From the renderings, it looks like this new pavilion will be focused on both areas to eat and chill; there will be high counters if you're on the go, couches if you're waiting for your crew to wrap up their shopping sprees, and long tables if you're grabbing a bite with friends. They're also renovating the bathrooms to include new plumbing and fixtures, and a new family restroom with a nursing station is being built over by Johnny Rockets.
We're told this new space was inspired by Miami's nightlife and architecture, which explains the lounge-like areas pictured above. Oh, and get this: its tables will have charging stations! You'll never have to go home to charge your son's Nintendo 3DS again.
The food court will remain open during construction, so pardon the dust as you eat.
